Why Sunflowers?

There’s just something about sunflowers – their bold golden petals, tall stems, and cheerful faces that seem to radiate sunshine. They’ve always been my favourite flower, and it felt only right to begin this new chapter with them.

• Sunflowers follow the sun! Young blooms exhibit heliotropism, turning their heads from east to west as the sun moves across the sky.

• They’re part of the daisy family and can grow to over 10 feet tall.

• A single sunflower head can hold up to 2,000 seeds.
